In my head I'm hearing a version from the 50's or 60's - Herb Alpert style trumpet.... groovy Latin jazz style...

Is it "Quando Quando Quando".

It sounds similar but it is not Quando, Quando, Quando.

Thank you Down Up, from Down Under.
I think I was hearing the Perez Prado version in my head
I'll get to working out an arrangement - should keep me obsessed for a while. I'll make sure to include the guttural exhalations!!!
Thanks to Sam Leman for the inspiration
UU, you've done it again!!

I think I've heard it before but I'm afraid I don't know the name of it.

[QUOTE=ubulele;1756715] Louiguy also wrote the music for "La vie en rose."

That's great.... I do an instrumental version of "La Vie En Rose" in my set.
I might see if I can work up a Louiguy medley... gotta love the (obscurely connected) medley

So wrong. Try actually listening instead of depending on impressions of vague similarities (and those only in the opening lines).

Having a bad day ubulele or do you just enjoy being a conceited twerp?

Ubes tries to do the right thing Bill, unfortunately it just comes across badly sometimes!
