Pete Howlett designed Tenor Harp Ukulele built in collaboration with Anuenue. Purchased new in 2011 for $1,299 USD. Limited production release.

That sounds awesome in the video! Very nice playing too. I am not in the market for one of these (yet) but someone will be very lucky to own this one.

One thought though- where do you get strings for the 'harp' part of the instrument? What strings are they?

Tom Ziegenspeck has worked out the appropriate gauges for one of these. Google Ziegenspeck Ukulele to get a contact email for information. It is possible to make a concert on of these but you would struggle to get 4 sub-bass strings and make it look right... My up-coming video on neck carving has Tom playing a piece on his harp uke. Very nice sound
