Get your money's worth on this uke

My wife is trying to talk me into going to England/Ireland next Spring/Summer with her. Does this come with a case or gig bag that would be carry-on? Kind of important. Please respond.

Is the fretboard radiused so I can make barre chords more easily? Is it a French polish finish? :D

Seriously that's pretty cool. It would make a good pair with Koaloha's smallest playable ukulele.

Why? All that time, effort, materials, space, etc.

That uke was a center piece at the Lansing MI Mighty Uke Fest back in May. Stu Fuchs actually played some notes on it in one of his concerts. With all the work to build it I'm surprised it's not sticking around for future years. Just too big to store I guess. One of those "seemed like a good idea at the time" situations.

If I came home with this uke, it truly would be the last straw for my wife. :)

I'm sure a big music store or perennial ukulele event planner will buy this. What an eye catcher! All that wood work expertise and materials for $3500? Seems under priced to me.

I'd guess the close up is of a "planetary" geared tuner.
