Fret Seating

I don't know if it is my PD or what but I have been having issues with fret seating. So here is my solution - press, torque wrench and spring return. Works a treat - no fret dressing any more. This is the result of a collaboration between me and my assistant Tom. Onward and upward :)

That's pretty kick-ass Pete. I had thought of a tension gauge or something for my press, but this is very cool.

I love how much innovation the group here shows. Almost more fun to see the cool inventions than to see the latest ukes. :nana:
 
|Enough to seat frets in rosewood! Trial and error. Depends also on the length of the wrench...
