Entirely new to this game - looking for group near Canterbury to join and learn to play. Is there anybody there?!

Hi Hilary, If you mean the UK, there is a music shop called Hobgoblins in Canterbury, they may be able to help out with a local group. Also have a look on the website street life, which has local news and chat, lastly your local library may well have contact numbers for groups.

If its Canterbury anywhere else the in the world, I can't help sorry. Welcome to the forum, its great fun. If you can't find a local group there's lots of tutorials on You Tube as well as on here.
