Hello!
I have a lovely custom LoPrinzi koa tenor that I'm trying to get more volume and "punch" out of. It's currently strung with Worth clear strings. The tone is pleasant, but a bit softer than the Aquilas I had before. Are there any other strings that would provide more volume and pop?
Thanks!
Mika

Ukisociety just posted a string comparison vid featuring Aquilas and the new Bushmans: http://www.ukuleleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11383

Seems as though they're pretty similar in sound, although with a different feel.

I'm going to give the Bushman strings a try. Best part - they're going to send me a trial set for free!

Guadalupe strings out of East L.A. have a great sound - I have them on all my tenors.

Very interesting! Are these wound strings? Do you get much finger noise from your left hand when shifting?
How does the sound compare to monofilament strings?
Thanks!
