FS Kala UBass with gig bag

Near mint condition (I can't find any nicks, scratches, etc) fretted, spruce top UBass and gig bag. I just don't play this much. I used it on a CD I recorded and it sounded great (much like a stand up). Has stock strings ... if I was going to keep her, I'd experiment a bit and find some that weren't quite so stretchy, and prone to going out of tune. When it's played a bunch and retuned several times, she holds tune pretty well. Here's your chance on a neat, great playing and sounding bass uke!

I'd consider a partial trade for a solid top concert, which would go to one of my "after school uke program" students ... he's smitten with uke and would shine with his own quality uke.

Not totally sure Phil. They don't say "Hipshot" but match all the pics I've seen of them.

I like the passive piezo pickup, like this one, over the built in active pickup in the newer models. For me, it gives a cleaner, more natural sound. They look like Hipshot tuners to me also.

It's a good deal and would be cool to get that student a uke.
