Hi Everybody.
Been lurking the last few months. Some wonderful discussions and advise swapped here. Thanks for your help.

I can't play this instrument for a stink. Banjo player by trade. I'm working on it though.
Anyway, I've made two, or tried to make two, as it were.

The first was about a year ago:

Probably more of an excersize in understanding my own limitations more than anything, but it was fun, all the same:

Yeah, the "gourdulele" (cheesy as it is).
It was the last of a few gourds I bought out of CA. The rest were turned into gourd banjos and/or attempts at gourd banjos.
Its got a few problems though, lots of wolf-tones and similar. I think the gourd was too thick and the bridge needs to be replaced. Some day...
