Mañana

Well the evening has come
Darkness arrives at setting of sun
The race of the day has been run
You can’t change a thing what’s done has been done

It’s dark ’cept the glow of the coals
It’s the time of the day you really feel old
You no longer feel keen or bold
You’re weary of life and your bones are so cold

Mañana holds no joy for you
Mañana just more work to do
You’re not looking forward to
Mañana

Wow.
I love the raw beauty of the song. The lyrics are powerful stuff.
This is an original, yes?
I like the simplified rhyme scheme as well, it reminds me of cowboy campfire songs.

+ 1 Beautifully played lyrics. Has a nostalgic quality and reminiscent feel to it, even if it is about manana. I can hear this as a soundtrack to a movie of any genre. Keep 'em coming!

Yes I wrote this one.

Well at least it wasn't misspelled paurinal :biglaugh:

Seriously though, great song Brian. You are a constant source of amazement.

You're just taking the p...ss Andrew.

It is funny that you see it that way because when I finally saw the mistake that's all I could see.

Thanks for the listen! Especially since it was labelled so.
