View Full Version : What kind of wax for my Timms Style 0 ?

Hi all,
Tried searching on waxes and Pm'd Ken, but not sure if he'll get it.
I'm in Los Angeles, what kind of wax should I use on my Timms
Style O, Any suggestions? I've had it for a couple of years and its played often. Thanks for your help.

I'm a no wax kind of guy. If I must clean and polish I use Virtuoso, and occasionally a good fretboard oil. But that is very rare. Mostly, I just regularly use a microfiber cloth to keep my instruments clean.

Ken will probably tell you but judging by the title of this video of Mrs Timms finishing a style O some time ago it appears to be bees wax:
