Pohaku Art Deco Tenor—Price Drop
I am selling my Pohaku Art Deco Tenor. It has been a wonderful player, but some recent acquisitions mean I need to slightly downsize my tenors.
Honduran mahogany back and sides, western red cedar top. Details are superbly finished and fitted. Koa, mahogany, ebony, even ivory (from old piano keys) was used to construct the Art Deco style details. A terrific player both picking and strumming. It’s 1 9/16” at nut, 12 frets to the body, with the same Peter Hurney style slight bulge on the back. The construction is superb.
Here is the original review I posted: http://forum.ukuleleunderground.com/showthread.php?57110-Pohaku-Art-Deco-Tenor&highlight=pohaku+deco
Here are complete current pics: https://app.box.com/s/spunr057krrbp8xwm16qwgakt60ofl11
A YouTube video I did some time ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJBTtDlq54k
Full disclosure: a few surface nicks in finish, but can't be photographed or seen beyond a foot or so. I had my luthier lower the bridge/action slightly when I purchased.
Glad to answer any questions; PM me.
Price Drop: $1295 includes shipping. Includes hard case. PayPal payment, gift if you can.
