Songs using Chords C G AM and F

Hello,

I seem to have managed to really get to grips with going from C to G to AM to F and back to C and now i am looking for a few songs which will use them chords.

Has anyone got any suggestions and also the Chord order and strumming pattern to go with it?

I know i am new but it seems to be the best way for me to learn by asking.

I've followed the thread however it doesn't give me the song and chord order etc....have a missed the thread to goto once i go on that link?

I think the idea is to use this list of songs as a guide http://forum.ukuleleunderground.com/showthread.php?33947-Master-List-of-C-G-Am-F-songs and then look them up on the internet.

I type in the song and "ukulele" "chords" and usually I'll get what I'm looking for.

ahh ok that makes more sense.
Also i am terrible at knowing what strumming patterns to use and also how many beats between changing chords when looking.

Hubs (who is taking bass lessons) is learning Trampled by Turtles' 'Alone' and I've been strumming along with him - it happens to use those very chords, if you like that style of music. We're using a version posted on Ultimate Guitar.

Sorry, total novice here...learning myself with no lessons

You can always just strum down for four beats until you learn the song, lyrics/chord changes. And from there do whatever feels/sounds right to you.

There is a YouTube clip where a (right handed) guy holds a piece of card or a folded piece of paper in his left hand and strums that to work out the rhythm. I've seen a good player just gently tapping his fingers on his uke to work out a complicated rhythm.

well I've been trying to find somewhere over the rainbow only using chords C G AM and F and i only keep finding one with it also including Emaj. And also a good strumming pattern too to go with it but its hard to find one....also to know what beat (1234) or (123) to follow and when to change during the song (i don't ask much).

The song is in 4/4 time, with 4 beats between chords.
For starters, you might try four downstrums between each and every chord.
The first link suggests a strum pattern that has 2 or 3 strums per beat (per chord), and provides a sound sample of that pattern.
