Thought I'd show my kerfing jig, which is nothing new and I'm sure everyone has seen similar. The part which may be slightly different to the ones I've seen is the attachment of the indexing needle. I knew there might be lots of trial and error and modifications to the various components, so I made it so the the needle could be adjusted in 3 ways. The length of the needle, the angle of contact and the height of contact. The height can be adjusted by adding or removing the washers. This idea may be of interest to anyone who is thinking of making one. Seems to work ok.
