Ziricote tonal properties

Anyone have a Ziricote uke? I'm having a custom tenor built with figured redwood top. Curious what everyone has to say about how Ziricote sounds.

From the wood database references it is very hard, similar in density to BRW. Ebony is more dense. Ebony and BRW are more stiff and harder. The figure is exceptional nice. I have a fretboard of Ziricote. Redwood/Ziricote is a nice combination. I once had a Redwood/Ziricote tenor that was outstanding.

I am having a Hive ukulele built by Jake Maclay with a spruce top and zircote body. Actually, it is already finished, but just not shipped yet. I should get it in a couple of weeks. Can let you know after I get my hands on it. I love the look of the wood.

Zircote sounds great to me, great tone, sweet and beautiful...
