SOLD: Collings UT2 Tenor Ukulele in Figured Mahogany (Serial 1371)

SOLD!!!!!!!!!

For sale is a near mint condition Collings UT2 Tenor Ukulele (Serial 1371). This instrument is in absolutely excellent condition with the only single flaw being a very faint/small ding on the headstock near the high "A" string tuning machine head. You can see this simply in the photos, other than that the entire rest of the instrument is in excellent condition with no real signs of play or wear. Also included is the original hard shell case and box. This instrument features a gorgeous highly figured mahogany option. The play and sound is just amazing - Collings Mahogany Tenor Ukuleles are the best sounding/playing ukes on the planet right now.

SOLD: $1575 (Includes Pay Pal and Shipping within the Continental US)

Bought a koa Collings tenor from Shawn a while back. Great, great uke and great transaction! Good luck on the sale!

Hello,

What is the mark on the bottom left lower heal ... looks like a ding ... thanks. I didn't see the mark near the "A" string on the head stock.

A beauty. Big Collings fan here. Somebody will be ecstatic with this uke!

No, there are no marks/dings or anything anywhere on the body/heel/etc, what you see is just some light reflection from ...the instrument is really near mint. If you go into the linked Picasa album there are more pictures (tried to do some inside and outside). The ding on the headstock I refer to can only be seen in a closeup of the headstock in the linked photos (UU capped me at 4 so I posted a link to the Picasa album with the rest).

Here is a closeup of the headstock and the small ding near the "A" string tuning machine.

Thanks Shawn, I thought in the second picture it might be a ding, as i had a similar ding on a Uke that I bumped ... but if you say it is a reflection, then that is cool. Thanks.

No problem, just to be clear for people - here is a second photo of the bottom of the uke where the above 2nd photo shows a reflection- no dings or issues, just glossy flamed mahogany goodness:

Oh man, what a sweet tenor!

Boy, what a great looking tenor. I have a Collings tenor, and if this tenor had lasted a day or two more, I might of had two Collings tenors!

Thanks for re posting the second picture of the bout ... gorgeous Uke ... the new owner will be really excited to have it.
