I got rid of all of my 4-string tenors, but I miss playing reentrant DGBE. I prefer a 19" scale, but until I can justify a new uke, I was thinking of switching my KoAloha six-string to DGBE. Has anyone done that before? String set? Unison or octaves on the first string?

You can certainly get high d DGBE set for tenor scale. Southcoast for sure, LIving Water maybe. I think you'd have a hard time getting a low D or E for tenor scale so probably have to go unison instead of octaves.
