Playing Slide Ukulele

Thanks for posting this. I am interested in learning more about slide Uke.

This page has some info and there is an e-book available: http://ukulelehunt.com/2009/04/15/slide-ukulele/ I haven't had the opportunity to view the book or try this out for myself and NFI, just mentioning it in case it's helpful.

I have done a few videos with slide on my old baritones. I think I've done Hang Me, Oh Hang Me, Walking Man, and Bye and Bye by Terry Robb. I think I used open D tuning for most of them.

I have not tried plugging in though! I'll have to give that a go real soon. Thanks for sharing.

I picked up a slide one day and tried it on my Risa tenor stick and never looked back. I love the way it sounds and have to restrain myself from using it on every recording.

Here is a duet with some slide throughout.

I posted this a long, long time ago.

One of my all-time favorites - Martin Mull, in the 1970s.

Enjoy!

Sounds really good.

Did you do anything to raise the action on your Risa or did you just play it as is?
