This week's Seasons theme is to play the first music you ever spent your own money on. I was a teenage trumpet player in the '70s, which automatically made me a Chicago fan. The first music I bought was a 45 single of this song.
As a trumpet player, I also loved that in addition to the usual piano/guitar/vocals books of sheet music, Chicago also put out books called "sketch scores" that included the brass arrangements. I could transpose the parts for a Bb trumpet, and play along with the albums. I've still got my copies of most of those books, so I put this arrangement together based on sheet music.
