Hello there,

I've just noticed LIDL stores in the Czech Rep will have a soprano ukulele in stock. They used to sell uke called "clifton" before and it got quite well reviews. But this looks different.

Just wondering if any of you know something about it.
The cost is around 17 Euro.

Different colour, different headstock, different tuners, different fretboard, different bridge design, different... almost everything. The Cliftons were bad (cardboard sound, high action), but I've never seen these new Lidl-ukuleles. They do seem more 'back to basics' compared to the brown-red-ish ones.

Could you check them out for us, please?

I will check it definately. I assume it will be out of stock within a few hours but I might be able to get there in the morning.

I'll let you know...

If it's not a crap, for the money, it might be a nice "go-anywhere" ukulele or a gift.
