FYI - There appears to be a $25 sale (Cyber Monday?) on Outdoor Ukulele Tenor site right now. I am not sure how long it's running. But it's active right now Sunday 6pm MST 11/29.

I just ordered a bottle brown tenor for $125, down from its normal $150. The fancier $200 ones are also $25 off.

I am excited since it has generally good reviews on here. First plastic uke for me (no humidification required). I'm adding the k&k pickup. Sweet!

Looks like they made lots of improvements since that last iteration of this model. Most notable to me are the colors, and the back of the neck from squared to rounded.

Petey Mack posted a short demo with sound samples, both acoustic and with the pickup, here:

This would make a great beater and go-anywhere uke, and at this price it's replaceable without pain should any extreme punishment harm it.

Folks might leave their Flea and Fluke ukes at home as their 'nice' uke and use this one in it's place.

Thanks for sharing! Hopefully you will put up a NUD post when you get it? :)

Absolutely will do a NUD when it gets here. I have seen Petey's review (he's great) and the general positive reviews and improvements helped sway me.
