Unsure where this posting belongs, so I'll start here.

Just got a new Mya Moe Tenor Resonator...but have a strange question. To me, it's so loud and bright, I'd like to soften the sound without losing the brightness (hopefully some are not going to say that I need to change to a different tone wood combination). Might that be possible by changing out the Worth Clears? If so, what strings might do that?

Secondly, have an older KoAloha Tenor. Love the ?strings, but they seem to be a bit loose and floppy feeling. Might there be some nice strings out there with a bit more tension to them?

Many thanks in advance.

I had a Mya-Moe concert resonator that I put Worth Browns on. It brought the tone down quite a bit.

:agree: Yes, I would suggest Worth Browns to mellow out any harsh tones.

Another vote for Worth Browns. Also, Fremont Black Lines are worth looking at as well.

Worth Browns.

Many thanks thus far for all your suggestions. I will check with Char, Gordon, and Aaron of Mya Moe for their recommendations as well, as per Bill1's posting.
