I enjoyed your playing. It was very tasteful and added nicely to the composition. I'm trying to be more musical in my playing and it seems a lot of times it's knowing when to leave things out. I think your playing highlights this.

Did you have a backing track or did you build this up from a piece of software?

Hi, thanks for your respond.
I´ve made this track completly by myself. Im working with Fruity Loops , its an digital audio workstation with a bunch of virtual instruments(in this case:trumpet, clarinet , piano and upright bass).The ukulele and drums are live recorded in my little homestudio. I´ve basically tried to fill in the gaps with my ukulele just to get some space for the rest of the instruments.
Its kinda hard to play the uke under recording circumstances so its not always on point but i´m pretty happy with the result( and the sound of the horn sections). Ive recently bought mojo horns for my daw and for me they sound pretty realistic. You can listen to them here if u want: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-EC_3hw-ho

Very nice....we like to play " you are my sunshine " in am, dm, and em....it gives it darker, gypsy like song favor.

It is actually played in Dm
