Cross Grain Spruce?

Where do you guys get the cross grain spruce for the back seam? I have tried searching this site and google, looked on LMI, StewMac, and RC Tonewoods. Is it available as bracing material or do you have to make your own from a top set?

I get most of mine from www.Hanalima.com, However I believe RC Tonewoods and some of the regular luthier supply retailers sell it as well.

I make my own but I use the same material the back is made of. I like the look.

I'm still making my first uke and cut my back graft strips from the end of the board for my top.
