Dean Markley DM3000 Artist - need opinion

My group has a recital on in 4 days, and I was just informed that some of us (myself included) need to be amped. None of my ukes have pickups, and I'd prefer to play my own rather than borrow someone's.

While looking at options, I found the "Dean Markley DM3000 Artist" transducer pickup. Amazon has it and I can get shipped to be overnight.

Anyone have experience using one? Opinion?

I have one. Works very well for the price. Just make sure you don't hit it directly or else you'll be greeted with a huge THUMP. (But then again, you might want that for percussion!) if you have time, play with the settings on the amp/PA until you can dial in a sound you like.
