due to ridiculous offers below £800, I have decided to lock the post, but good luck to anyone finding a Lfdm
for less than that.......... Happy New year

I can't bear seeing this uke cased up in my study, so here goes for the last time, straight sale best offer over £800 or trade for a nice concert or soprano... or cash+trade

Engelman spruce top. Luis Feu de Mesquita Tenor Ukaferri style ukulele it has a radius fret board, and the LDFM slotted headstock, currently strung with Worth flurocabons for CEA and a Fremont Soloist Squeakless Wound Low G, the Worth combo with the Fremont work really well together, it's an amazing sounding uke and build is what you would expect from LFDM

Hardshell case included, if sold in the UK parcelforce 24 express would be £20

looking into international shipping, and it's a very odd area, according to any royalmail and parcelforce international services, no instruments can be insured with enhanced compensation, so a bit annoying, but at least it's worth knowing for the future, although it's seems that if it's damaged you can get comp, if it's lost or undelivered forget it.

I am a LfdM owner and I hate to see this sitting in limbo. This is just a suggestion but maybe list it in USD shipping included in the final price.

Listed in £ might be too confusing for us people on the other side of the pond. I know that when I look at your listing I have NO idea how much that would cost me!!!!!

Shipping stateside is a real pain, so was hoping for a Uk Europe sale, always best to use a currency converter, I could list with world currencies, but it would change, majority of all sales on uu are in dollars, i think if someone was serious about buying it a 15 second google conversion is all it takes for an accurate price, I don't think it's a good time to sell, I have a good friend who would sell a kidney for a LFDM, so I'll give it another day, then being the season of goodwill I'll gift it to him, I'm having the same problem with a 2k Ramirez guitar, having managed to get my dream Ramirez 1967 guitar, my student model is surplus, and I have that listed at £1200 less than new.

Gah! This is killing me. I was so close to buying this beautiful ukulele. I ended up buying a lovely Kanile'a special but I'm so sad I haven't the funds for this right now!

Yes it was a shame, if I hadn't been messed about with the gumtree fiasco, that and being away on location for so long, we could of got a deal going, still open to some sort trade+cash

I can see why a European sale would make it easier for you.

You might want to mention Luis is no longer taking orders anymore. All his ukes will now be sold through HMS only. If people realized they a have a very slim chance of ever being able to buy a LfdM this one might sell faster.

As the former owner of this one I can vouch that it's an absolutely lovely uke. The only reason I sold is that I have another of Luis' ukes that is a little more to my tastes tone wise and in my quest to experience the best ukes around I only have space for one per luthier for now. Which makes it sound as though I have hundreds...I only have 3!
