Got this on Craigslist for 180$ including hardshell case. It's a 50's vintage gold label Kamaka soprano. Crack in back but otherwise in great shape. Nice loud tone.
Excellent find. I love my Kamaka gold label. I found mine on e-Bay for around $230 with a vintage soft shell case. I thought it was a good deal even though the crack in the back was a little wider than disclosed. You did better.
I found my string slots in the nut and bridge to be a bit narrow. I also found the neck profile to be a bit square, not very rounded like my other ukes. It has a great sound, and that makes up for a lot.
