Daughter's boyfriend's father's build

Thought some of you might be interested in the builds being undertaken by my daughter's boyfriend's father. Never built a uke before, but thought he'd give it a try.

Not playable yet, the bridge is sitting just a bit low so the strings hit the frets.

Very nice. Is that a gecko holding the strings? What is it made of?

Looks like a little "cigar box guitar" ingenuity. That gecko looks like some drawer/cabinet pulls I've seen at Lowe's and online.

Looks like was was going to use a mandolin bridge but it was too tall

Nice body and neck work anyway
