For sale: a lovely vintage Koa Supertone ukulele from he '20's. I bought it just to trace its shape but liked it enough to do some restoration. New bone nut and saddle, fluorocarbon strings and Gotoh geared tuners. I also repaired a big crack on one side and dressed the frets. You can see where some of the original shellac on the side of the neck wore off while dressing the sharp fret ends.

It has beautiful rope binding and rosette on the top and is made from straight grain Koa. It plays in tune, has medium low action and sounds loud and old timey. $200 plus shipping. Email me at info@thebeansprout.com
