On Wednesday, the library released more than 180,000 of its public-domain items — including maps, posters, manuscripts, sheet music, drawings, photographs, letters, ancient texts — as high-resolution downloads, available to the public without restriction.

The mention of sheet music piqued my interest, but I'm sure there is plenty of useful stuff there.

Try searching on "ukulele" and see what comes up!

Andrew - this is AWESOME. I am so happy that old music sheets will be preserved in this archive, and thank you so much for sharing this link.

I wanted to see about downloading, do they have a PDF option or 'download all pages' at least on a per-song basis?

It seems you have to dload each page/image one-at-a-time and this can get cumbersome fast.

If the option is there I'm having trouble finding it, for example for the song 'Apart' which is on the first page from your link above.

Please help if you can. :)

Unfortunately it looks like some of the sheet music is only available as low resolution images and you would have to pay for higher res copies. A lot of it it freely available though.

I also noticed you have to download each page as a separate image. I have not found any way to combine them into a single document for download yet. I plan on being pretty selective on what I would actually download. Such a huge collection will obviously be around for a long time to come and hopefully they will continue to expand it.
