We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a Higher Ground House Concert for Lil Rev on Saturday, February 27, 2016. The flyer is too large to attach here, but we can email one to you. We hope you can join us again for another wonderful evening of music, storytelling, and fun with Lil Rev!

Higher Ground House Concerts:
We have been holding house concerts for a few years and finally decided to name the series. We moved here from Taylor Lake Village, TX, which is located near Galveston Bay. Taylor Lake Village is officially three feet above sea level. Living through massive hurricanes and tropical storms, the house in Taylor Lake Village never got a drop of water inside.
In 1991, we moved to a subdivision called Lakeside of Sans Souci. Our home was next to a corn field, 722 feet above sea level. Our insurance agent asked if we wanted flood insurance and we laughed him off. On July 17-18, 1996, Aurora had a record rainfall, 17 inches. The basement and half of the first floor were destroyed along with the contents. We were evacuated by boat.
In 2004 we moved to our present location which is built on higher ground!
