Memorial video of Bruddah Iz, White Sandy Beach...

Very nice.

Thanks for sharing! :)

Won't open is says the URL signature has expired. Never heard of a signature expiring.

Wow the poster must have pulled it or set a time limit on it

Ah bummer. Was looking forward to checking it out. :p

Mahalo anyway.

Hey folks,

I had actually downloaded the video when it was available.

Due to it being taken offline, I've now uploaded it to my Google Drive, and set it to 'Public' so everyone interested can still see it.

This is the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5ezNwSBd5ucWnJUY0wzQWVUUk0/view?usp=sharing

I'll leave this up forever if possible, unless I get a notice from Google telling me to remove it.

Shaka :)

Thank you, Booli, for making it available. Very tasteful and very moving tribute to IZ. Thanks to mm Stan also, for letting everyone know it was out there.

No problem. Funny thing is that IZ's 'Over The Rainbow' may have been something I was only peripherally aware of before I found and came to love the ukulele.

When I first started with the ukulele, I really didn't even knew who IZ was, or anything about him, and then later when I saw one of the documentaries about his life, and listened to lots of his music, it was rather late in my ukulele journey that he became one of my heroes.

His music is magical to me. Such an angelic and ethereal sense to it, and will always be very precious.

The "OFFICIAL" version of this video was put up on the Mountain Apple Company's YouTube channel in 2009. Let's hope they don't send someone out to sit on you, Booli. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPIC-UmNeGw (turn off annotations)

They also did a really nice one of Iz playing White Sandy Beach at the beach.
