Ever seen a 'Sanlele'?

Ever seen a 'Sanlele'? It's a recent Japanese invention created to be a hybrid between a uke and a sanshin:

Looks cool, but don't see much "lele" in it. 3 strings, not same scale, long neck. Maybe a uke scale and 4 strings are coming. Thanks for sharing.

From my quick reading, the sanshin has no frets, but apparently the sanlele does have frets in a diatonic scale. Adding a fourth string would kinda defeat the purpose. Looks kind of like an Eastern dulcimer to me. I'm not looking any closer - don't want to start up a bout of SAS.
