After down loading and practicing the tabs version of Blue Skys that UU member bradben so graciously shared in a recent post, I've decided to embrace tabs. Coming from a strong horn playing background where it's all notes on the page this is a big decision!

Is there a tabs book available full of the old standards and swing tunes?

Thanks for any book suggestions

Can't help with the book request, but congratulations on "embracing tabs" ... I made the same move not so long ago and was pleased that I did, despite having previously tried to convince myself that I didn't need tabs 'cos I could "read proper music". Both systems have their place and are perfectly valid. Unfortunately some poorly written tabs have given that system a bad reputation.

Enjoy :)

I've tried finding tab as opposed to song chords, there's not much out there that I could find, but it's not too hard to make your own if you can find the music notation of what you want.
