I want a very hard shell case but having trouble finding fiberglass etc in baritone size, any recommendations? I know Ameritage makes some but they are fairly expensive and I will break down and spend the money if I Have to but would appreciate recommendations for anything less expensive.

Ditto. These are the nicest cases that I know of at a reasonable cost.

I just conducted an extensive search for cases. You have several options for less expensive cases. Fiberblass (or Carbon Fiber) cases are out there too, but your choices are more limited.

Kamoa provides a frustrating page which shows a photo of a CF-B size case, but provides no other details. I can't find any details, prices, or information about how to order. You'll have to call them;

Mim's has a couple of gig bags on her site, but when I called her, she said she could order a variety of brands of cases;

Mainland has cases, including these faux alligator cases;

Elderly has a variety of cases for a baritone;

Sweetwater has an assortment of cases. Their website does not provide a way to sort them by size, so you have to read the descriptions carefully;

The same is true of Uke Republic--all sizes are mixed on one page. You have to click on a specific brand to see whether it's available in a baritone size;

Austin Bazaar sells these hard-foam cases;

I listed the Amazon link because the Austin Bazaar link crashes my Safari 5 browser.

Saga Music lists a baritone case. A button on the page helps you find a retailer that can order one for you;

HMS (TheUkuleleSite) shows that they have Soprano and Tenor Oahu cases in stock. Ko'olau's Oahu page shows that baritone sizes are made. I suspect that HMS could order one for you;

Guardian also shows that they make Baritone cases, and provides a link to locate a dealer;

I recently spent much time researching cases. I also came to the conclusion that the Oahu case sold by HMS that Camsuke mentions is the best value. You would have to seriously abuse it to do any damage to your uke inside it. The barritone size is listed on Kooalau's website. The staff at HMS should be able to answer any questions about the fit of your model in that case.

I bought a Pono Baritone from Andrew at HMS and he sold it with the Oahu case. It is very nice.

Contact him to see if he would sell you one.

I have the Oahu case for my Kala Baritone. It is a nice hard shell case but I wouldn't call it a "very hard case". For example, I don't think I would use it as checked luggage.
