in my own town! http://barnsofrosehill.org/ and I are working on having our first ever ukulele festival. Tentative date is for this September on the 10th. For the first fest we are going to have it for just one day. We'll have a couple pro's play on stage, host workshops, and we'll have open mic. My local club will play and the D.G. Cooley Elementary School where I helped implement the uke into it's regular music program thanks to the music teacher Mr. Perry. I can't wait and I hope this becomes a yearly thing!
