Hello all, my friend Rob(wee ginga yin) introduced me to U.U.
I've played uke for about 6 years,i love playing uke,and i play in The Durham City Ukegroup.Im just finding my way around just now,and seem to be going the long way around everything :confused:
hopefully i'll get there in the end,wherever 'there' is.

Hi Bob, I'm down the road a bit, Billingham Teesside. There's plenty of northeastern uke folks around. I have a 5 string,bluegrass type heritage. I guess this influence comes out in my playing. I like bouncy jazz infused stuff.
I'm hoping to go to The Scottish uke festival in May https://www.facebook.com/ukulelefestivalofscotland/ as it has a great lineup. I would cherish a workshop with James Hill.
Anyhoo, when the weather picks up I might have a wander up your way for a jam sometime. Likewise you would be welcome at The Middlesbrough Happy Uke Club, Thursday nights.
