Pono OT tenor with under the saddle pick-up

This is a very beautiful Pono tenor strung with worth brown low g and sounds awesome. The uke is near mint but it has one ding one the front. There is an under the saddle pickup and sound good as well. I am taking a gamble trying to sell this one to get another I have my eye on so please have a looky at this sweety. The 'Ohai (pronounced oh-high) Series is Pono's new model. Ohai wood (Samanea Saman) is a beautiful South Polynesian wood, very much like Koa in appearance and tonal properties. I am a Pono Fan Boy ... love the brand.

When I see something I don't know about, I like to do a bit of research which is why I am making comment on this post.

This model is not a new model ... but released in 2009 as per MGM's attached video. At the time it was selling for $299.00.

It does come with a pick up ... so this looks like a nice deal for someone to pick up.

Well no interest which is strange 300 for a Pono Tenor is very fair, so I decided to refinish it because I have decided that I don't like satin finish I have done 3 instruments now this came out pretty good what are your thoughts?

Wow, that looks great...did you eliminate the "ding"? What brand pickup? Is it passive? Case or gig bag?

Thanks no the ding is still there but is less noticeable the pickup is a shadow and it does come with gig bag....It took a full week to do the re-fin I have a Pono acacia concert I am doing next I hate satin finish when it first came out I thought it was cool.

Looks nice. What did you use to refinish it?

I must be blind, looks identical to the other pictures. As for it not selling, well, it is 7 years old (with a ding) and your asking price is apparently one dollar more than when it came out back in 2009. That is based on the comment above about the price it originally sold for.
