Finally jumped in a bought one of these...the new cutaway version
with electronics. Musicians Friend. I had a 20 percent off coupon..
got it for 339.00...a steal.
Man.....I am in love. All the hype....its true.....beautiful looking and sounding instrument. I am determined to play it as it was meant to be played....cgda in fifths.....already have learned about 5 or 6 chords.
Action is little high but I will take care of that.
really nice for finger picking....sounds super strummed too. Cannot wait till i get a little more proficient to get a sister tenor banjo. Very happy I
finally got one of these.

Congratulations they are a great instrument and for the price they are outstanding. I bought one about a month ago and have really really been impressed with it.

I am slumming it tuned DGBE but it is like a big baritone ukulele or a 4 string acoustic guitar while tuned like that to me. I have tempted 3 uke playing partner by just letting them play it, so powerful compared to even a tenor ukulele.

Have you had a chance to play it plugged in yet? Then you feel like a Rockstar

Is that a ukulele, neither of you specify, what is it?

I'm pretty sure it's a tenor guitar, possibly this one.

I have a non-cutaway Blueridge, tuned DGBE (i.e., Chicago tuning), and it's a great instrument.
