I had decided last week to eventually go through my wood pile and either give away or put up on ebay all the wood I no longer use. I came across a few billets, the remains of a 4" thick, 19" wide 10 foot long Cuban Mahogany plank I bought in 2004... I had already made my money on this dude 5 times over and immediately sold 5 sets from a passing comment I made in another thread on this forum. However, as I was sawing up this gorgeous brick red wood, the bandsaw acting as if it was cutting butter I back peddled and reserved the last 5 sets for the unpopular 'concert' size ukulele that I love so much. In fact, I am building two of six in Cuban mahogany this week with the rest being from my left-over koa. I'm glad I am nostalgically inclined....

Its a shame the ‘concert’ size is unpopular. It is certainly my favourite size. (and the size I want to make!)

Looking forward to seeing these!
