Very nice. But it could be a little risky as family owned businesses don't tend to last very long. :p

I hope you're being facetious since Kamaka is 100 years old.

Hate to be the negative voice, but you did ask for comments. Tattoos = A permanent sign of temporary insanity. Should have put the $'s into your IRA.

To each their own. One person's insanity is another person's artful statement. I like it, and have 4 myself -but nothing uke-related.

Enjoy it!

Looks nice (: The only tattoo I would EVER consider would be a uke. It's such a part of me now.

How do you know if someone hasn't already made the maximum contribution?

I think many of us think tax refund = NUD! Negative voice says you should buy only one uke...I have never listened to that! :p

Balderdash!!!

The tattoo is a beautiful, venerated, ancient form of art that in recent years has finally begun to command the acceptance and respect it deserves in the western world.

Love the OP's new ink, as well as all of the others. Nicely done!

Whistleman makes a good point; if you invest your money wisely now, you'll be able to get more, bigger tattoos when you retire!

Nice tattoo OP! You have to namedrop the artist & studio!

(is anyone else waiting for Inksplosive Al to drop in?)

There must only be a small group of manufacturers with customers who are prepared to have the company logo as a tattoo on their person. Harley Davidson, Kamaka, and who?

Lots of people to be found online with Apple tattoos. I'm assuming they like iPhones, rather than are really into fruit.

I can imagine there are some die-hard automotive brand or racing fans that might have a Ferrari or Chevy or whatever logo.

Other logos I have seen tattoos of include the 'Steal Your Face' from the Grateful Dead.

When I was growing up, I never had a desire to get a tattoo or have my ear pierced. No real reason behind it, just decided that was not for me.

Then I started to think, "well if I could find something meaningful, I might get a tattoo..."

Then I ended up designing a tattoo, and I ended up getting it. I like it very much. I might get another one, but I am not in a hurry.

I've seen a fair number of those, but I work in tech and always assumed it was the computer and not the fruit :)

Googling "corporate logo tattoos (https://www.google.com/search?q=corporate+logo+tattoos&newwindow=1&biw=1151&bih=679&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiBqJio2dzKAhUGWCYKHXiyB8AQ_AUIBigB)" gets some... interesting results. Not sure how many are real and how many are temporary or 'shopped, but pretty entertaining regardless.

As I have written here on the forum before, I have the chord changes to Charles Mingus' 'Goodbye Pork Pie Hat' tattooed on my arm. I was never able to learn them by heart.

Kamaka might give you a discount if you buy a 100th anniversary uke if you go to their shop and show them your tattoo :)

There's a restaurant here in Cleveland named "Melt". It serves nothing but gourmet toasted cheese sandwiches. If you get a tattoo of their logo you recieve a discount on their over-priced sandwiches for life. Sorry, just don't like toasted cheese that much!

I don't have any tats. And I was a biker for many years. But I have a respect for them, as a lot of artists would be picking tomatoes or digging ditches if nobody bought tattoos.
However, I'd put the $$$ toward an ukulele first....

Cool. Looks nice so that even non-ukers might appreciate the art.
