I picked up what looks to be a nice little concert uke. It's a bushman Rosie, concert with mahogany back/sides. Sad thing is, the top is a little worse for wear.
Bushman as arrived.jpg Cross brace is detached from the rim. 2 Large open cracks on top.

I'm wondering what method you would use to access the top for replacement?

A) Pull the fretboard

B)Steam the neck joint and pull the neck

C) Other

Looks like someone sat on it.
Are you sure it needs a neck reset? Its only 10yr old

Why not just repair the cracks and the loose brace through the soundhole in the usual method?

The cracks are wide and it looks like someone slathered glue on them in an attempted repair. I would like to replace the top, but as I didn't build this one, I don't know what to expect on the neck joint. I can see that it is a glued joint, but not sure if it is dovetail, tennon, or something else. That's where the idea to pull the fingerboard comes in.

Reset not needed except to facilitate top removal.
