Hello,

I play the drums for 15 year now but currently I'm on an exchange to New Orleans (I'm Dutch) and can't play the drums during the next few months. Therefore, I would like to buy a decent ukulele to kill my spare time with making music.

I don't want to buy a cheap laminated instrument but I'm on a tight budget as a student so I prefer a used one and safe some money.
Just missed a nice Eastman uke on eBay in the last 3 seconds...

Does anyone have a nice solid and fair priced concert uke for sale?
No friction tuners please.

Best,
Dries

First of all, welcome to the forum.

You picked or were placed in a fantastic city. Make sure you explore all that New Orleans has to offer: Music, food, culture, etc. It's a fantastic place and my wife's favorite city.

Enjoy.

Welcome to the forum! I'm not sure what your budget is, but Mims Ukes has the Ohana CK-25S in stock which is Ohana's lowest cost all solid mahogany concert model for $209:

Thanks for your reply!
I checked the 'better' shops like MIM, Southern and Republic but I prefer an used one price/quality wise.

A decent concert uke with at least a solid top is also considerable!

I know, but I still prefer a used one and there should be at least someone on this forum who has something lying around ; )
If this ain't gonna work I can always buy a new uke.

Or some may say, I can always buy a used uke. Always an excuse to buy a new one. LOL.

Know exactly what you mean. I'm suffering from a heavy drum GAS. Don't like depreciation and I therefore (try to...) prevent me from buying new instruments :uhoh:
