Does anyone know (with a good amount of certainty) whether KoAloha use the same friction tuners for the Opio models that they put on the regular KoAloha koa models?
In pictures of the Opio concert and soprano they do look the same as the tuners on my KoAloha longneck pineapple, but I can't tell if they are identical (internally). I'm quite impressed with them on the pineapple, and they completely changed my view on friction tuners.
I plan to grab an Opio concert next month, and have the option of getting UTP pegs installed, but would prefer the original tuners if they are of the same high quality as the ones I've experienced (I like the idea of using original parts, and the orange knobs are iconic).
