Song Help Request Strum pattern for American Land

Anyone able to help with how to strum American Land by Springsteen?

I'm no expert, but I just went on Youtube and listened to it and it sounds like 4 down strums per bar. The easiest and most boring strumming pattern there is. All the interesting stuff in the song seems to come from the drums and other instruments. I just had a bit of a play with it and it seems to work with a chunk instead of every second strum. Just play around with it and find something you like.
