Bugs Gear Strap Button

I have a Bugs Gear concert that I would like to add a strap button to, right on the bottom of the instrument.

I haven't looked in there to see if there is a tail block or anything to screw into. We've put strap buttons on our wooden ukes, but I'm not sure about this plastic.

What should I be looking out for or doing differently?

Is it at all possible to put a strap button on the plastic body? That is what I want to do.

I screwed one into my Korala Explore with no ill effects - the plastic was more than sturdy enough for it.

Hi I made this ukulele and I think I am the right man to post.
I put 6 vertical ribs on that area. It's not like a wood block but, strong enough.
No worry and problem to install strap button.
Please check screw's thickness I recommend to use thicker one about 3-4mm
then, It will hold strap button tight.
Don't try screw/unscrew too many time it will makes screw hole wider.
