Help with Fender Uke

I was hoping some of the experts here could help with any info.

I recently purchased this Fender pa'ina ukulele, used. I have seen a couple of them in person and they all had the plain woodgrain looking finish.

As you can see in the picture, the top of this one looks different. I can't seem to find any others online that have a similar looking top, either.

Anyone ever seen one like this?

I saw a used Fender Pa'ina at the local music store years ago that had the same kind of look.

Maybe sometimes you just get lucky and end up with prettier wood.

I was worried since I couldn't find another example that maybe it was a counterfeit or something.
