In a word, NICE!! Love the feel and tone.

They are wonderful strings! I have used them on a couple of my vintage Martin soprano's.

I just put them on my LN Soprano KoAloha as well. And I agree. Very nice sounding.

How do Living Waters compare to Martin strings on a soprano?

Much difference?

Not sure about on a Soprano but I have had both on a Concert. To my ear they are tonally very similar but I prefer the LWs because the C string is slighty lighter (just over a tenth of a millimeter!). I really like the Martin strings but always thought that their C was a bit of a chunky monkey and could sound a bit thuddy as a result. YMMV as ever.

IMO they are slightly less bright (more warm) and more soft to the touch. Very responsive just as the Martins.

I would agree with that opinion, although I never put them on my Martin soprano, I put them on my C1K and liked the Martins better on that instrument. Love Living Waters on my Kanile'a, though, tried Martins on it and didn't like them.
