WTB: Soft top (e.g. Spruce) and Hard Back & Sides (e.g Rosewood) Tenor or LN Concert

I am interested in finding a Uke that has the above or similar characteristics. It doesn't necessarily have to have these woods, but I am looking for a fairly bright sound so softwood on top and hardwood B&S would probably do it for me.

I am interested in Collings, Loprinzi, Larrivee, Kamaka, Koolau, Ono, etc as these are Ukes that I have not played before with these wood combos and I want to try it for myself. All of the Ukes I have now are Koa.

I prefer thinner necks and thinner bodies, so Ponos and Compass Rose, although great Ukes, are out.

I am interested in only the Tenor styles, or LN Concerts.

Does anyone have one that is ready for a new home? Send info by PM with your price (including shipping and insurance to a U.S. address) and pix and please give details on condition, etc.

Thanks.

This second paragraph makes me think Ohana. It's a different class than your first paragraph, but what about this one?

Or here's an all solid:

There is a rosewood/ spruce LoPrinzi listed on reverb. I don't know any info about the seller and have not purchased anything from reverb (probably should try to sell) anyway link is below.

I bought that Loprinzi a month or so ago. Rappsy has every right to drool...it's pretty spectacular. I have a feeling that any decently-made tenor with rosewood and spruce top would sound great, so I'm guessing he's on the right track.

Thanks so much. That one was sold. I missed it by one day. He never marked it sold. It's also listed here and he didn't close the thread. Too bad. It would have been nice. There'll be others.

HI Points.

I asked Frank to let you know that if you weren't happy, I would get it from you.

If you're enjoying it, great. If not please let me know. Thx.

There's a spruce/mahogany Mya-Moe that was just listed here.

I've been drooling over one at HMS (linked below) for a while. It's way out of my budget, or I'd hesitate to point it out. I'm pretty sure that if I had $937 to spend on a uke right now, it'd be mine. I have one of their guitars and it has the most incredibly balanced sound of any instrument I've ever played. Subtle, even, rich, smooth, consistent from the lowest to the highest end of its range.
