Also note that Robbie says in the video he used well-seasoned Brazilian cardboard.

You know Pete. I think that this might be a good challenge similar to the 2X4 one. Though if it goes like Bobbie's guitar, might really hamper sales on that expensive figured tone wood we all have on the shelves.

I posted this video on my FB page yesterday, and commented that I constantly get clients asking about what I think of the tone from this or that for back and sides. I always tell them the same. It' makes so little difference as to be a non issue. Only choose one or the other based on what you like, can afford, and the theme / color composition of the instrument.
