There was a music festival in Bricktown in Oklahoma City on Friday. There was a great band from Austin who played before the wonderful Parker Millsap. The band is called Wild Child. They were folky, rocky, or well, maybe "Austiny" would better describe them. They had a uke player and vocalist who was pretty salty. He played a very pretty Koa Oscar Schmidt cutaway. There was no guitar except the bass and the uke filled the roll beautifully. Has anybody heard Wild Child before?
